The House of Haiti:
a house of integration and economic, social and cultural integration
Haitians in France are estimated between 80,000 and 90,000 people according to INSEE with an annual migratory flow of 1,500 individuals.
They are mainly based in Seine-Saint-Denis and Val d'Oise, departments affected by unemployment, delinquency and school failure.
Many Haitians have a negative image of their country of origin and only see it through the lens of images of misery and violence conveyed by the media.
In the House of Haiti, we have a strong conviction: "To know where we go, we must know where we come from."
To reconcile and maintain a link with its origins, its culture meets this need. Social inclusion through access to the world of work is also a privileged means of integration.

We wish to offer Haitians from France and friends of Haiti:
- A place for all, a house promoting the union between all Haitians whatever their social origin and open to all friends of Haiti,
- A place of reconciliation with the culture of origin and history
- A place where they can receive support for their administrative procedures or their career path
- A place of intergenerational meetings
- A place of exchange and sharing between France and Haiti, linked by 300 years of history and Francophonie
- A place where the image of Haiti can be renewed in a positive way and where its cultural wealth can radiate in all its dimensions (arts, literature ...).
